 Long Island Gynecologic Oncologists, PC (LIGO) is a multidisciplinary practice of professionals dedicated to providing expert, sensitive care to women with known or suspected gynecologic cancers. Our spectrum of services includes the surgical management of all gynecologic cancers, provision of chemotherapy services, oversight of radiation therapy and hospice services. Our physicians also provide care for patients with complicated gynecologic surgical and selected pre-invasive conditions. Our physicians are all board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology.

LIGO DOCTORS MADE THE NEWS NCI Patient Education Booklet The National Cancer Institute (NCI) has developed a new patient education booklet called Pap Tests: Things to Know. This 8-page, easy-to-read booklet is now available in print and online and answers women’s common questions about Pap tests while emphasizing the message that regular Pap testing can prevent cervical cancer. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Herbert H. Lehman College in 1976.
